The Pristine United Provinces of Nultsia is a massive, safe nation, ruled by President Jeremiah Stralam with a fair hand, and renowned for its museums and concert halls, daily referendums, and punitive income tax rates. The compassionate, democratic population of 2.389 billion Nultsans hold their civil and political rights very dear, although the wealthy and those in business tend to be viewed with suspicion.

The enormous, outspoken government juggles the competing demands of Education, Environment, and Welfare. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Hawarden. The average income tax rate is 91.0%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The powerhouse Nultsian economy, worth 213 trillion Nultsoes a year, is highly specialized and mostly made up of the Book Publishing industry, with major contributions from Tourism. State-owned companies are reasonably common. Average income is 89,470 Nultsoes, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

An increasing percentage of the population's youth have homosexual parents, college students make ends meet by selling their kidneys, the newspaper industry is subsidised by the government in order to keep it afloat, and schoolchildren have twice-weekly sex education classes. Crime is totally unknown. Nultsia's national animal is the Liger, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests.

Nultsia is ranked 17th in GFW and 120,500th in the world for Most Primitive, scoring -129 on the Scary Big Number Scale.

Nultsia is divided into seven provinces and one special district, with all of its land claims falling into one of these. These provinces are, in alphabetical order: Altis, Artistota, Corvus, Dunsan, Golid, Grevol, and Kiroba. Additionally, the special district, Hawarden, is the nation's capital.

Nultsia, while being covered in a considerable amount of rural land, has very large, heavily-populated cities scattered along its coastlines and rivers. This is a catalog of the major cities of Nultsia.

Hawarden

The District of Hawarden (often referred to simply as Hawarden) is a landlocked city of 100 million people situated between the provinces of Corvus and Dunsan. It is the capital of the Nultsian national government and, as such, has a special status where it is not a province, but acts similarly to one, being allowed to elect its own representatives to the Federal Conclave and Diet. Due to the city's status as the Capital of Nultsia, it draws a considerably large amount of tourism.
