Jason and Japan
Jason shiprat's uncle was the emperor of Japan(before Davy). He was the inheriter of the Japanese thrown after he died seeing as the emperor had no male children. Jason, before Davy took over, had gone to his godfather's house every summer to visit and get a quality education of Japanese culture, language, writing, and tradition. The emperor treated Jason as if he was his on son and gave him everything he wanted (Not EVERYTHING he wanted). When Jason was kicked out of Moscow he stayed at his uncle's in Japan where he learned and perfected the art of the Ninja, Samurai, Karate, Kung Fu, shipbuilding, and Metal working.
Jason new that if the people didn't like his uncle and there wasn't a strong army and Imperial Guard then he could lose his uncle as well. Jason modernized the navy and army of Japan by building massive forts to protect the shores and give jobs to the homeless and jobless. He greatly expanded the shipbuilding industries to produce mass amounts of ships. In the end the Japanese fleet ended up with 50 1st rate, 2nd rate, third rate, and 4th rate SOTL's (each) with double the number with all war class ships and triple for regular ships and quadruple that with light class ship. The army also got muskets that had double the range of British muskets and the muskets had mini Katanas as bayonets, they were also trained in the art of Guerrilla warfare, mental discipline, and Kung Fu. In the end the total number of all people in the military was double of Spain, France, and Great Britain combined.
