Jackson Black
Jackson Black is a soldier in the British Army. He is the main character of The General's Chronicles.
Story[]
Early life[]
Jackson Black was born to Otetiani and Emily Black in 1698. He lived in Boston, Massachussetts until he was sixteen. His father, Otetiani, was an Iroquois soldier, before he was captured. His freedom was payed for by Emily Black, who worked as a prison maid. Within a year, they birthed a child, named Ayita, after Otetiani's great-grandfather, a Cherokee warchief. Two years later, they gave birth to another child, Jackson.
Jackson and his brother Ayita got along well. They were often in the town causing mischief, but all in good fun. They would often visit the British soldiers down at the docks, and make friends with them. However, as interested as they were in the soldiers, Ayita was always pulled to the East India Trading Company. When Jackson was fifteen, Ayita set sail with an EITC East Indiaman. Jackson was crushed that his best friend had left him, and he spent a lot of time with the troops. When he himself was sixteen, he set sail with the Navy, towards England. It was a tearful goodbye.
Life in England[]
When Jackson disembarked the Sharkbane, all he could think of was clean water, and suitable food. Unfortunately, he was forced to march to the Academy in Manchester. When he arrived there, he was directed to the garrison where he'd be keeping his things. The room was small, with bunk room for four. That was his home for many weeks. Every day he went through rigorous training.
